PSYCH / DOOM-STONER ROCK / SPACE-ROCK (KRAUTROCK) …. Looking for following positions to complete lineup: 2nd guitarist Bass guitar Organ / Synth Or Multi instrumentalist (viola, flute etc ) who can double on guitar, bass, keys … Vocalist - ??? - I want to get the music down first but if your a vocalist and are into this idea then please reach out. I’m looking for open minded musicians to complete a line up and form a band / recording project. The end goal is to record and release physical vinyl & play shows and possibly tour. Open minded and creative is something I really want to stress. If a song is a 20 minute two note drone piece with fuzzed out reverberated feedback and we think it’s cool then It’s a song. I want to incorporate elements of Krautrock into songs (not all of them) and use organs like early Floyd. I have a few Farfisa organs and some old synths. Simplicity is sometimes better when It comes to music. My attitude is if it sounds cool then It is cool. I ask that serious likeminded people only reply. I want to get to work. *** With regards to recording. The plan is to record in a real studio and not on a laptop in someone’s bedroom. The sound I’m looking for is not a pristine super slick recording. I like the raw 70’s feel. I want to record together when possible. I want bleed in from other instruments. If your into perfection and super slick production then this project is not for you. Influences include: Black Sabbath, Spacemen 3, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, Kyuss, Black Mountain, Jesus Lizard, Black Angels, Swans, Can, Bardo Pond, Hawkwind, Electric Wizard, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, QOTSA, The Sword, early Pink Floyd, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Sleep, Acid King & more ….. No EGOS!!! Transportation a must No weekend warriors Creativity over skill (but no beginners) Quality gear is important (i don’t care about brands so long as it gets the job done) but if you only have a Crate solid state practice amp that’s not going to work.
