Join Roupp Funeral Home & Lizard Toes Yoga on November 18th at 5:30pm for Yoga for Grief.
This relaxing yoga flow will be a combination of mindful breathwork and physical poses (called asanas) that are known to interrupt the activation of our sympathetic nervous system. AKA: Our flight, fight, or freeze response that can be activated in times of stress and grief.
With the help of yoga, we can engage our parasympathetic nervous system. AKA: Our rest and digest response, which may sometimes feel elusive in moments of intense stress and grief. Especially as we head into the holidays. In doing so, we can experience:
- Reduced stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.
- Improved sleep patterns.
- Enhanced quality of life and overall well-being.
No yoga experience is needed to attend.
This yoga practice is led by EYT-200 Johanna Kodlick of Lizard Toes Yoga.
