This fun and relaxed workshop will gather a small group of beginners to learn about the meditative art of calligraphy. We will learn about the tools needed, warm-up exercises, basic lowercase letterforms, and a brief history of Copperplate Calligraphy - a foundational script for Modern Calligraphy, Spencerian, and brush lettering. All participants will receive: • three hours of instruction • a starter kit including a dip pen holder, nib, pot of ink, and paper • an instructional packet with guide sheets and exemplar sheets to take home • access to future feedback on your progress • light refreshments and snacks  Treat yourself (and a friend) to a fun afternoon of learning to letter! $10 off each ticket when you purchase for yourself and friend.  Seating is limited to 10.
