Notice of Community Meeting – Proposed Brownfield Area Designation Under Florida’s Brownfields Redevelopment Act
Representatives for Ocean Bleu Group, LLC will hold a community meeting on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 6 – 8 p.m. Eastern Time at the College Park Neighborhood Center regarding the proposed designation of land located at 1710 and 1720 Edgewater Drive, Orlando, Florida 32804 (Folio Nos. 23-22-29-9496-01-010 and 23-22-29-9496-01-020) as a Brownfield area under Florida’s Brownfields Redevelopment Act. This request for Brownfield area designation is made to the City of Orlando pursuant to Section 376.80, Fla. Stat., and also will involve a public hearing process before the City of Orlando. The purpose of the community meeting is to provide an opportunity for public input on the size of the area, the objectives for rehabilitation, job opportunities and economic developments anticipated, neighborhood residents’ considerations, and other relevant local concerns.
The community meeting will take place in-person at the College Park Neighborhood Center, 2393 Elizabeth Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32804. The community meeting is free and open to the public.
