Bitten by dog

Hi Craigslist. I was bitten by someone's dog this morning on lower Jesusita, between Steven's and San Roque Rd. The owner was holding it by leash and let me know that it was not friendly. The trail was narrow, and the dog was strong, and lashed out and put 5 holes in my arm. Responsibility aside, if anyone knows the owner of a German Shepard (?) with dark grey hair and a anti-scratch collar, I would like to know if the dog was vaccinated for rabies. The owner had dark hair, glasses and stubble, maybe in their 30's or so. Thanks for any information.
