Two long-time local artists, Iva Fendrick and Janeen Carter-Smith, team up to present new and past work at The Mill Creek Gallery, Truxtun and S Streets, October 15th and 16th. Mill Creek Christian Church has transformed their parlor space, adjoining the main sanctuary, into a contemporary gallery for that weekend. Both painters are retired teachers and well known within the Kern County art scene. A Saturday evening reception from 6 - 9PM, and an afternoon coffee from 12 - 4 PM will offer an opportunity to view the women's diverse styles and mediums.
