This rustic/modern charmer is perfect for an artist looking for a dream studio space! This historic barn is located in old Escondido, a short walk from downtown. The interior was recently remodeled, but the outside is still super funky and traditional. I am in search of an awesome tenant who will appreciate its quirks and take good care of it. It is private and has a small patio and larger shared yard as well as detached laundry room available for use 2 days per week. There are so many beautiful spots to create from! The full space has beautiful new laminate flooring throughout, stained open wood beam ceilings, new paint, and new windows. Most of it has been sheet rocked, but a few of the original wood walls remain to incorporate its history. The upstairs is a large open loft style studio with beautiful lighting and a view. It has a floor combo ac/heat unit that vents through the wall to the outside. The bottom floor consists of an eat in kitchen with cabinets, shelves, sink, microwave, convection oven, and 2 hot plates. There is not a full stove, garbage disposal, or dishwasher. There is a small room between the kitchen/bathroom that could be used as an office. This room has an AC unit that cools the full downstairs. It has a large bathroom with rain shower, sink, vanity, custom built mirror, shelves, and sliding barn door. In addition a locking 8x10 shed is included to store your supplies. It is located outside the structure. There is also a common area (shared with the other 2 houses that have wonderful tenants) that has a deck, gazebo, 6 chairs, and smokeless fire pit. The property is detached from the other two units and only accessible only from the front gate - making it extra secure. Street parking only. Two people max, no dogs. Cat or other small pet considered. Landlord pays for water. Tenant will be responsible for 1/2 of electrical. We are still making minor tweaks. It will be available to view on Thursday Sept 29. Available 10/1. $2250/month, $2250/deposit. Min 1 year lease. Owner pays for water/trash/sewer. Tenant responsible for electric and wifi (if desired)
