Travis County Elections is hiring experienced equipment delivery team members to perform safe delivery and recovery of voting equipment to and from election polling sites for the upcoming November elections. Applicant must have experience with loading/unloading heavy cargo using lift-gate systems on 26 ft box trucks. This is a temporary position that runs for up to 30 days from mid October through mid November with up to 30-40 hours per week with possible overtime. Payrate is $20 per hour. Flexible hours may be available. Requirements for the position include the following: - Valid Driver’s License - Social Security Card or valid passport - Ability to pass background check with a clean driving record - Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. - Experience with loading/unloading of large cargo using hydraulic lift gate systems.
