I know there are several drummers out there that are probably kick-butt in other genres, but we need just one who isn't trying to make a living playing in bars and jumping from one band to another, sold to the highest bidder kinda situation. Age and or looks do not matter either. Experience does. We are a small, eclectic trio consisting of Seasoned Professionals ranging from 40+years and up, seeking one percussionist that knows how to play Jazz Standards and occasionally a little Funk and Blues with brushes on a small set of drums or can make a Cajon come to life without overbearing the other instruments or vocals. We don't have time to teach you how to play, nor rehearse a song more than 3 or 4 times when we get together. We all love what we do but do not do this for a living. We will probably gig at least once a month. Our goal is to do Fine-dining restaurants, Country Clubs and Private Venues ONLY. We rehearse in Leander on Thursdays.
