Our military is in a recession. Food stamps please.

It comes as no surprise that times are tough especially for the military. Not all military personnel live in barracks. Some live off base in homes with family. When you decide to live off base you get a per diem for extra expenses. It may not be enough for food plus housing. Military men and women are encouraged to apply for food stamps. How sad is it that the government is that broke. Never mind that we are giving Ukraine another 400 billion in aid. The United States has been propping up Ukraine before the war with Russia. Lets not forget our military and it's veterans.
