Unfortunately I am looking to re-home my bloodhound, Red. He will be 9 years old on November 27th. I’ve had him since he was 12 weeks old. He is a great dog who has gone through a couple traumatic events in his life, like a house fire and moving from Nevada to here and back twice. He does have true separation anxiety. He is an easy going dog who loves to be around people and other animals. He is great with my rats and rabbit and does well with cats too. He would do best in a home where someone is around all the time. The breed on average lives 9-11 years and he is definitely a senior dog. He sleeps most of the day but still loves to play and has a good amount of energy for his age. I jskt spent $3000 on getting his shots done, removing a mass from his head, taking care of an ear infection and removing some teeth that needed to be taken care of. He currently eats 1.5 cups twice a day with a half can of wet food mixed in. If you’re interested, please reach out and I can give you any info you would need.
