Looking for a short/long term nanny in SW Portland

Our nanny just quit on us with no notice leaving us with no childcare this week forward. So we're looking for short term child care right now that can become long term if the fit is right. Care would have to be in our home in SW Portland. Our son is 22 months. I'm also expecting at the end of the year with maternity leave ending in March - so opportunity to go from watching one to two with a pay increase if it's the right fit. Hours: 7:00AM - 3:00PM (can be flexible if needed). Location: SW Portland (by Bridlemile elementary school) Basic Duties: Feeding Diapering Playing Taking to activities/appointments Nice to haves: Light housekeeping (swiffer, laundry, wiping down counters, light meal prep coupla times a week) Occasional dog walk Car is not required, but highly preferred. As long as you have transportation to/from, you're welcome to use our car to ferry him to appointments/activities. Most important thing to us is that our son is loved. His last nanny loved him to bits and it showed. We need someone that plays. Actually plays. We need someone that loves kids. We don't need a degree in childhood development or anything, just someone that is invested in his development and willing to be creative about it. Please email if interested with your rates.
