My son found this pupper at a gas station while we were on vacation. She was starving and covered in fleas so he brought her back with him. We gave her a flea bath and tried to introduce her to our other 3 dogs (all smaller) but it didn't work out. We noticed that she was spayed and with the help of the local 24-hour animal hospital we were able to ascertain that she is chipped. We contacted the company who tried to contact the owner but to no avail. As it was a Sunday, the only place we could leave her was the Bonham Animal Shelter in Bonham, TX. They work with two animal rescues and when they get full (it's a small pound) they try to place them with one of them. However, if neither rescue group has availability, then she will be EUTHANIZED! I will go back and pick her up if it comes to this but I live about 300 miles away. Please help find her a home or perhaps consider fostering her until she can find the right home.
