I will be a vendor at this weekend's Anime Fest at the McAllen Convention Center. I am seeking 1 person to help setup and my merch booth Friday, then help run the booth Saturday and Sunday - including breakdown and load-out after the show ends on Sunday Hours: Friday (Sept 29): Noon to 5pm Saturday (Sept 30): 10am to 7pm Sunday (Oct 1) 10am to 9pm Job description: Friday: Meet me at the convention center and help me unload my van and setup the booth. Saturday and Sunday during the show duties include: assisting customers, watching out for shoplifters, and organizing merchandise. Sunday after the show ends we will pack up the booth and load it into the van. Things to know: You should expect to be on your feet the majority of the time. Merchandise boxes can weigh up to 50 lbs, so any hire will need to be able to lift and carry that amount. Parking fees are not covered. Nor are food and beverages. There will be a lot of direct face time with customers/attendees. Pay rate is $14.00 an hour in cash paid at the end of the show.
