JOB SUMMARY: Assist the Management Team in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the building and grounds. This position requires use of email and basic computer usage. This position will be a lot of physical lifting or moving materials as well as maintenance functions. Position will pay $20+hourly. This position will have vacation time/benefits. You will need to pass a background and drug screening. This position will require small amounts of driving locally in a company vehicle. PLEASE INCLUDE RESUME ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Performs other general maintenance duties as required. • Patching and painting walls and surfaces • Repair, replace or adjust inoperable doors and hardware • Replace damaged or missing ceiling tiles • Cove base and carpet repairs • Hang boards, pictures, signs and other wall fastened items. • Sourcing of parts and supplies to perform work functions • Cubical setups and breakdowns • Minor furniture repairs • General carpentry functions • Recommends ordering of parts as needed. • Clean work areas and maintain tools and equipment. • Maintain a professional, safe and clean environment • Participate in projects as needed • Inspect and operate HVAC machinery and equipment and determine that all is functioning properly. • Assist HVAC Technician and Electrician as needed REQUIREMENTS: • Three (3) years minimum experience in trade or vocational school and/or general maintenance with field experience in preventive maintenance. • Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning machinery and components helpful. • Must possess a sense of ownership and pride in one’s work along with a service-oriented approach. • Able to work independently and take initiative when necessary as well as capable of working as a member of a team and in conjunction with other trades. • Must observe and comply with all standard safety codes and practices, perform work in accordance with recognized trade and C&W Services standards. • Must be quality focused, customer service oriented and able to routinely communicate with peers and customers, clearly and professionally.
