looking to start old time music jam in NW Philly

This is really kind of a shot in the dark, but I've been getting into old time acoustic folk, blues, bluegrass, and country (John Fahey, Bill Broonzy, Willie McTell, Tony Rice, etc.) after years of playing mostly indie rock. I'm alright on the guitar; getting better as I actually practice for the first time; can read and play charts without too many jazzy chords (though I like the permutations of the 7th including the Maj7); not particularly a lead player; I can sing alright, but not great too. I'm just great at selling myself, you see I'd kind of just like to jam with folks, whatever instruments; learn to play and sing some old tunes together; write some new ones if the spirit(s) move(s) us. Is that a thing?
