Job Title: Trim Carpenter and interior doors Installer Employment Type: Full-time and part-time Job Description: If you are fun, creative, and hardworking, we want to talk to you! We are looking for a carpenter/installer with knowledge of various carpentry techniques and other secondary skills useful in residential door installation projects. Some knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery is a plus. Some experience with doors installation, including trim work is beneficial. Willingness to learn new skills and grow with the business. Experience & Knowledge: Some experience with carpentry (1-2 years minimum) Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle and Background check. Drug free at all times. Hold a valid driver license. A high school diploma or GED required. Have great English conversation and communication skills. Have knowledge of mathematics. References upon request. Skills & Abilities: Install interior doors with appropriate hardware and tools. Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment (will train) Good communication skills. Positive Attitude. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools. Must be able to read a tape measure. Ability to effectively manage time. Ability to bend, lift, twist, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and move repetitively while working with tools. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and greater than 100 lbs occasionally. Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Willingness to learn new skills.
