How often do you get to train with reality based scenarios under stress? This class may be the closest you get to the real thing while still getting realistic feedback in real time. We’re going to test your skills and help you discover what you need to be better prepared when it really counts.   FAQs  What must I bring to the event?Please bring a positive attitude, a photo ID, your concealed carry permit (or certificate of completion from a concealed carry class), eye protection, and wear comfortable everyday clothing and shoes. If you carry off-body (or you plan to) please bring the gear that you use to carry your concealed firearm (purse, handbag, fanny-pack, backpack, etc.). What does this course cover? This course will include- A brief classroom discussion about situational awareness, avoidance, de-escalation, and engagement of a threat. Time in the simulator room with participation and discussion. Live, reality based scenarios where the student will react to a potential threat. An airsoft (CO2 driven) gun will be used by the student during the live scenarios. Students will NOT be engaged with anything but inert training tools. Students should be prepared to get their heart rates up a bit. The live scenarios will require some activity and movement. Do I need a Concealed Carry Permit to attend?Yes. You must have your permit, or a certificate of completion from a concealed carry class. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?We are located at The Tac Shack on North University Street. There is plenty of parking available, and we are ADA accessible.  What's the refund policy?We do not offer refunds, but we do allow rollovers. Meaning if there is a need to not attend the course, you may roll your slot over to the next available one. Why take our courses?Our course focuses more than “just what you need to know” to get by, or the absolute “minimum”. We drive home the sincerity and importance of firearm safety, the basic shooting fundamentals, and the proper mindset to confidently operate a firearm.  Mission StatementOur passion, is to instruct people to become confident with their firearm; while responsibly training them to arm themselves and be ‘on watch’ within their community.
