I am in Missouri but am willing to travel depending on the distance. This past year I have taken in several birds that their owners could no longer care for and did not know who else to turn to, around this area there are not a lot of bird savvy resources both for care, and relinquish. The birds in my care have their own rooms, with large cages and lots of toys, as well as a healthy diet of roudybush or zupreem pellets, and fresh chop every day. Everyone gets out of cage time every day and baths several times a week. I do adopt out birds once they have been checked out by the vet and deemed healthy, or after they have been rehabilitated if they required more tlc. If it is a bird I do not have the means to rehabilitate I will bring them up to Lenexa KS to a rescue called beak n wings. If you are looking for a permanent placement for your bird and want to make sure they are taken care of, we can talk about them staying with me as well.
