“Wake up tomorrow morning and know that “tomorrow will be your best tomorrow”, no matter what challenges you face... 'tomorrow'.” - jslc
We've all been breathing since the day WE are born. I have. However, only in the last twenty-four (24) years have I consciously learned to 'breathe'. And with learning to breathe, I've also learned that within me is the ability to start my day again... "breathe in, breathe out", and I start my day again. See I am an addict in recovery. Yes, I've been clean & sober for over twenty-four (24) years now. It is quite an accomplishment, I agree. However, staying clean and sober is not without it's challenges.
How I respond, how I react to those challenges is what makes my life, and my understanding of "starting my day" over again with every breath I take, so amazing and fulfilling.
No matter what challenges I face. No matter what difficulties I run into. No matter what "problem" rears it's ugly head that day, I 'breathe in, breathe out', and I remind myself that "this too shall pass" and that I have ingrained in me, the ability to start my day again.
At the end of my day.
I sleep well.
"Don't let challenges, issues or problems, or other people discontentment or dissatisfaction rent space in your head."
They are not, ultimately, that important.
