Job Description
Full-time positions open for ship tank cleaning personnel. Most tanks to be cleaned contain various fuels, oils, or oily water, but some contain sewage, gray (sink/shower) water, or food waste. Small, local company. Laid back but safety-oriented team. Shifts start at 7:00 a.m. Usually 48-56 hours per week. All uniforms, PPE, tools, and equipment provided. No travel. No layoffs or hour cutting. Overtime required as necessary.
Pay/Benefits
$18/hour starting, negotiable per experience and capabilities, raises based on performance and work ethic

Requirements
Eligible to work in U.S., I.D. and employment eligibility document(s) required (e.g. U.S. passport or driver's license and social security card)
Able/willing to work overtime, including weekends, as necessary
Able/willing to lift 50 pounds
Able/willing to work in extremely small/tight or large/open spaces
Able/willing to work in spaces that are not temperature controlled
No facial hair in area of respirator seal (i.e. clean shaven best - sole patch, mustache, or shorter goatee usually okay)
Screening/testing -- Applicants and personnel may be subject to background checks, random drug/alcohol testing, and other medical screening/testing (e.g. pulmonary (lung) fitness).
No prior training or education necessary. Experience a plus in confined space safety/entry, marine/industrial tank cleaning, pressure washing, HAZWOPER, oil spill response, atmospheric testing, equipment/vehicle maintenance or mechanic work, powered industrial truck (PIT/forklift) safety/operation, and heat/cold stress.
