Aloha, I am offering one-on-one virtual or in person tutoring sessions. I like to approach tutoring and teaching from a coach's perspective by uplifting and training students to engage in better habits while also supporting their need for additional support in the subjects where they struggle. Every student has different needs, so this is an adaptive service to improve their performance in school. I have taught using Zoom for many years, and I am very confident that virtual tutoring is very effective for students. The main shortfalls of the virtual classes that we saw in the public schools for the last few years were that the teachers can not hold 30 students accountable, or give 30 students the attention they need, in a virtual environment. In one-on-one tutoring sessions much is accomplish. It is convenient for families' busy schedules. In many ways I think tutoring through Zoom can be even better than face-to-face meetings for many students. In person tutoring can also be arranged. We can meet at Kukui Grove Mall or another location. Please respond to this add if you would to discuss adding your student to our tutoring service. Please let me know the school they attend and what type of help you are looking for in regards to subject matter and academic skills. Mahalo Rates: **$55 / hour **Students will be tutored for at least one session per week on a month to month basis. 2-3 sessions per week is encouraged to achieve fast measurable results.
