The Colorado Agave Spirits Club is a society of spirits enthusiasts who appreciate the elixirs of Mexico: Tequila, Mezcal, Raicilla, Bacanora and Sotol. Our gatherings bring together like-minded people for the purposes of enjoyment and education of agave distillates in an intimate setting. Participants are greeted with a welcome cocktail, to be enjoyed in the company of fellow agave spirits lovers. Light appetizers are served, followed by a flight of spirits. A brand representative or spirits instructor then leads the group through the flight, touching on the history, production, regions, aging, and personalities behind each of the spirits. We seek to build a local community around agave spirits, hosting monthly or bi-monthly events in the Denver Metro and eventually at other locations in Colorado. An education curriculum is being developed, which will offer Certificates of Achievement after completing various courses on many aspects of agave production, history, etc. TIMELINE FOR THIS EVENT: 6:00 pm Guests arrive, receive welcome cocktail 6:00 - 6:30 pm Drink and mingle with friends 6:30 pm Light appetizers served 7:00 pm Tables cleared, flights served 7:00 pm Guided tasting begins 8:00 pm Event ends
