Virginia Peninsula Community College is a major hub for talent that may be overlooked in our region. These students transfer to 4 year universities and may not have access to certain resources. This charity basketball game is to provide mentorship for those interested transferring to HBCUs with careers in entrepreneurship, sports, and technology. Note from the founder: Hey Peoples, I'll try to keep it short: The fundraising basketball game in October 2022 is a way to generate money for scholarships for these students. Resources are just not the same and this is a way to help someone get on their feet and continue pushing toward their dream. We all have a dream and I hope this campaign allows you to keep yours as well. Funds will be made as a scholarship for the newly named, Virginia Peninsula Community College, in Hampton, VA, for students transferring to the Hampton Roads Region (Peninsula and Tidewater) HBCUs: Hampton University and Norfolk State University.
