Full Time-Live-In Shared Living (Housemate) Individual or Couple WANTED for 65 yr.old male living with memory loss due to a brain injury. Person is fully functioning, articulate but needs memory support, help with shopping, meal prep, transportation to medical appointments and companionship. He plays and repairs guitars, has lived in the Easthampton/Northampton areas for most of his life. He is supported by a state funded program which provides management of his care, training and support to the shared living person(s). Salary is over $50,000 per year with the following notes: *Lease and live with individual in a 3BD2BA home in South Hadley. Economical rent, some utilities included. *Provide shopping and meals, medical needs and appointments. *CORI and fingerprinting required *Training provided by program service. Specific training in this field is not required. On going training and support are provided. *Can have other job but care for person must be primary. *Mature, responsible person(s) with good house holding skills are necessary. *Must be patient and willing to understand limits of an individual with short term memory loss. *Size of house cannot accommodate shared living person(s) with children. *NO pets.
