Come and experience this action packed day designed to address health and wellness in our rural communities. Partake in various health care presentations along with health screenings and COVID and flu vaccines provided by the Sentara Office of Health Equity. Hear from community presenters discussing mental health, stress reduction, and wellbeing. Join in on these fun and relaxing events: Poetry, spoken word, creative art work and painting, yoga, line dancing, games, and fitness activities help to reduce stress and improve wellbeing. Sponsors - Mineral Spring Baptist Church, in partnership with Western Tidewater Community Services Board and Sentara Healthcare Office of Health Equity. Supporters - Girls on Fire Outreach Ministries, Suffolk Parks and Recreation, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Zeta Epsilon Omega Chapter, partner churches, and community presenters.
