Quaker Parrot 5-8 years old Male Green Original owner was an elderly lady and she passed away. I was supposed to be a short term foster, but have had had him 2 years and am moving so it’s time to find him a good permanent home. He was super friendly for the first year I had him because we were together every day, but since the world has opened up and I started traveling, he has gotten grouchy. He used to fly to my finger on demand and we even went on a road trip together to California. He loves driving :) My hope is either someone with a Quaker adopts him or someone who has experience with birds and wants to be with him every day. He has also reached sexual maturity so he really wants a mate. He is a free- rage bird, meaning that his cage is never closed and he is used to flying around where ever he wants, and knows to only sit on his cage or designated perches. Super smart so quickly learns what he can get away with and what not. He knows how to say: Step up Good boy Give me a kiss Etc... He can be a super sweet bird when he decided to like you, and everyone else better watch out. He bites, but typically will give 2-3 warning nudges before he goes in for the kill, and if he does bite you he will laugh. Asking adoption fee or $300 for him alone for someone who already has their own set up or $500 with cage and toys etc... Call or text I will want to have a conversation to make sure you are a god fit
