American Music Fairness Act

Meets

Orange City FL

Description

The U.S. Senate took an important step last week with the bipartisan introduction of the American Music Fairness Act. S. 4932, introduced by Senators Alex Padilla (D-CA) and Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) would bring more fairness to our industry by ensuring music creators are compensated for the use of their work on AM/FM radio. This bill is the companion legislation to H.R 4130 which was introduced in the House by Representatives Ted Deutch (FL) and Darrell Issa (CA) last year. Your voice is critical to building support for this legislation in Congress. We need all music creators to take action and urge their representatives in Congress to support the American Music Fairness Act.
