On October 8th from 10am-5pm , musicians, poets, artists, antique dealers, food trucks, and more will descend on the James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home to celebrate our 100th year welcoming the public into the preserved home of the "Hoosier Poet." The Home Will Host A live stage with varied music and poetry performances throughout the day on the lawn of the Museum Home. Arts and Antique vendors on Lockerbie St. as well as a garage sale in the surrounding historic neighborhood.Original works of art of the Home and neighborhood by Indiana Heritage Artists. Food trucks and other food vendors located on Park Ave. Drinks from Sun King and Hotel Tango Distillery Live music in the historic home. A silent auction, featuring prizes from local restaurants and vendors!Grab a drink and listen to performances from Him&Her, other musicians, poets, and others on the main stage under the tent on our beautiful lawn. Enjoy performances from classical duets featuring our 116 year old piano, a flautist, and violinist in our parlor throughout the entire day.Stroll through the booths of talented artists on Lockerbie St. and hunt for antiques at garage sales throughout the historic neighborhood. Booth include Herron School of Art and Design Students, Mills Made Studio, Carole Makes, Cynthia Frank Designs, Taube Osborn Enterprise Jewelry, Keen Reads, Wood Be Memories, and others. Artists from Indiana Heritage Arts will spend the weeks leading up to celebration painting in the Home and neighborhood, then display their creations at their own special booth. Food on Park Ave include Taste of Manilla, Bens Soft Pretzels, Books, Bourbon, Bacon, and Dashboard Food Truck. Drinks by the main stage provided by Sun King, Easley Winery, or Hotel Tango Distillery, or stop by the lemonade stand for a refreshing beverage. Street Closures - Lockerbie St. will close from the Museum Home’s gravel lot through Park Ave. Park Ave will close from Vermont Place through Lockerbie St. Thank you to our sponsors!
