Just over the Wisconsin border between Lake Geneva and Kenosha, this swath of green space was originally intended to be a jet fighter base. When those plans fell through, the area was opened for recreation, where anyone can enjoy the lakes and prairie landscapes.
Bring your hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers (you’ll need them), dress warm, pack water and a sandwich, invite some friends and get ready to enjoy the outdoors. We’ll start the day at GMan Tavern. After the hike we'll make our way to a local eatery for food and drinks before heading back home.
