Summary: The golf course Irrigation Technician is responsible for the adequate and efficient operation of the golf course irrigation system. By daily monitoring, system checks, repair and maintenance and operation of the system controllers. Responsibilities: • Installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and testing of irrigation equipment, systems and pumps; includes but is not limited to computerized, manual and electronic valves and clocks, irrigation systems and controllers, solenoid valves and heads. • Monitor and communicate the need for supplies • Spot water dry spots with a hose as needed on Greens, Tees, and Fairways. • Maintains and monitor clubhouse irrigation system • Assists the Superintendent in the maintenance of the golf course in other areas, to include but not limited to topdressing, fertilizing, mowing, course set-up, tree pruning and clean-up, and other maintenance or construction projects.
