Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Assembler. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high quality service to our customers. Applicants must have experience in a fast paced shop setting with a focus on producing quality pieces. As a DodiHome Cabinet Assembler, you will maintain and run projects in a timely manner that meets company standards. What you’ll do: ● Assemble cabinets, including installation of hardware and specialty items, finishing and sanding, as well as adjusting door and drawers to specifications and ensuring quality and operational standards are met. ● Maintain and operate all tools associated with cabinet assembly. ● Ensure Quality Standards are met for all cabinets assembled. ● Stack and store cabinets, stock, and inventory as needed. ● Ensure that the work area and walkways are kept clean and free of debris. Qualifications & Requirements: ● 3+ years of hands-on cabinet assembly and finishing experience. ● Strong knowledge of the cabinet manufacturing process. ● Be dependable and display a strong work ethic. ● Maintain excellent attendance and reliable transportation. ● Be able to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and schematics. ● Must be able to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment. ● Must be able to maintain a safe environment. ● Be organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented. ● Experience operating hand, power, and cabinet manufacturing tools. ● Must be able to communicate in English. ● Have basic measuring, math, and computer skills. ● Ability to lift and/or move heavy items. ● Ability to stand, sit, stoop for prolonged periods of time. Nice to haves: ● Strong knowledge of cabinetry hardware and specialty products. ● Knowledge and understanding of various materials and wood species. ● Basic understanding of computer aided design concepts. ● Flexibility in schedule to meet production demands. ● Additional cabinetry experience, such as material procurement or painting.
