Everyone is invited to a Women in Leadership event featuring Paula O'Rourke on October 17. President and CEO of Linn Area Credit Union, Paula O'Rourke, will lead a presentation starting at noon about her journey to her current role. Questions will be held following the discussion. RSVP | Learn more The Women in Leadership group meets monthly as discussion and networking events featuring women leaders to share their experiences in education, nursing, business, and leadership. Anyone can attend and enjoy meeting local professionals as they recant their leadership stories. Paula O'Rourke is originally from Fort Madison but currently resides in Cedar Rapids with her husband, Adam, and their son, Dominic. Paula has served in a variety of extensive and diverse roles within financial institutions, as well as a period of time focused on project management and continuous improvement for an aerial defense contractor in the Quad Cities. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Iowa Chapter of Alzheimer's Association as well as the Iowa Credit Union Foundation Board. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Master of Business Administration program at Mount Mercy University. Paula has been a leader in the financial services industry for more than 20 years. In April 2015, she began at Linn Area Credit Union as the Vice President of Strategic Planning & Operations/Finance. In July 2017, she was promoted to Senior Vice President. Working closely with the management team and several cross-functional teams, Paula has been instrumental to all of Linn Area Credit Union’s major projects in recent years—including launching new products and services, as well as planning and implementing the system upgrade and a variety of conversions.
