We’re at a unique moment in North Carolina’s transition to a clean energy future. We want to make sure this new system prioritizes people over profit while addressing the impacts of climate change. That’s why we’re building the NC People’s Energy Plan — a project to elevate the voices of North Carolinians to ensure they have a say in the state’s energy policies for thriving, sustainable communities. And we need to hear from you! Appalachian Voices and Down Home NC are hosting a listening session at the Ashe County Municipal Park on Oct. 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. Come join us for food, community and discussions on NC’s energy system!
