Allan Hancock College students of the AHC Viticulture and Enology Club are holding the 5k fun run to promote the Viticulture and Enology program. Funds raised will go into program activities through networking and promotions within the local wine industry on the Central Coast of California. Check in time for race will be at 8 am at Registration Booth located at the entrance of AHC Track at Parking lot #8. (Located by the Gym). Early bird tickets available until 4/16 afterwards tickets will be $45 for general admission and $35 for student/staff admission. Each participant will receive a shirt at the registration and a medal upon completion. It will start at the track starting line and after a few laps it will continue outside the football field and finish at the campus winery. Many participants will walk together as well. Go to registration. You can register and pick up your shirt and bib on Friday May 5 from 2 to 5 pm at the campus winery in O211 in Santa Maria. Or just before the run/walk at parking # 8 located by the Gym at the entrance of the track at 8 am. The event is going to start at 8:30 am at the starting line inside the field. We will do 10 laps at the track and then we will leave the track to the right and follow the arrows on the floor and we will follow along on the sidewalk by College drive going north until we turn to the right into East park Avenue towards the college and then finish through the hallway that finishes at our Winery. You can park in parking #8. At registration you will receive a shirt and these instructions. There will be one water station on the track. At the end, there will be refreshments and fruits at the winery. Go Bulldogs!
