Every Saturday during the month of October, Valleywise Health is providing residents the opportunity to receive their yearly influenza vaccination for free, no insurance or appointment necessary. The month-long clinic will be hosted at five Valleywise Community Health Center locations (Peoria, Guadalupe, South Phoenix/Laveen, Chandler and North Phoenix) on specified dates from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The Guadalupe location will provide the vaccinations the entire week of October 3 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Vaccinations for adults 18 and pediatric patients (6 months to 18 years-old) will be available. No appointment is necessary and walk-ups are encouraged. Vaccinations will be administered on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. In consideration of everyone’s safety, below are a few requests and recommendations from Valleywise Health: • Mask use is required to receive your vaccination. If you do not have a mask, one can be provided. • Please wear short sleeves for easy administration of the vaccine • Following the vaccination, participants will be asked to remain on-site for a short period of time so medical professionals can monitor status before departure For more information on participating locations, dates and times, please visit www.valleywisehealth.org/flushots.
