We’re calling on our residents and business community to help us remove litter from our streets. If you’re looking for a fun service opportunity that you can do with your family and friends, this is for you so keep reading… Join Clean Memphis and Memphis Transformed along with Downtown Memphis Commission and Grind City Brewing on Thursday, October 27th for an afternoon of do-good service and tasty sips. We will meet up at 3 PM at Greenlaw Community Center (190 Mill Ave) for a quick meet and greet and then divide into teams and set out to clean up our downtown neighborhoods. After we finish our litter pickup, we’ll head over to the brewery for Happy Hour. The first beer is on us! Plus, we’ll be giving away Memphis swag and gift cards to local restaurants for the teams who picked up the most litter. This is the service event you most definitely want to be a part of! A few important details… Clean Memphis will be providing the supplies you need for clean-up: gloves, trash bags, trash grabbers, high-visibility vests, water, etc.We will be using Litterati - a litter data tracking app - so you will need a fully charged cell phone. Clean Memphis will provide all details for Litterati at the event. You will need to bring your state-issued identification for age verification.You must participate in the cleanup event to receive a free drink ticket for Happy Hour.Additional Questions?
