Bassist seeking players for hypnotic grooves

Fender bass player with 20+ years of experience seeks musicians looking to play hypnotic instrumental grooves and carve out a distinctive sound as a band. I’ve been playing with a great drummer and a brilliant Fender Rhodes player. We’re interested in adding a guitarist with a psychedelic bent, and a bass clarinet or bass sax player for some Bitches Brew style improv. My recent favorites include The Comet is Coming and Sons of Kemet. I also love Ron Miles’ Rainbow Sign (especially Bill Frisell’s backwards guitar.) The keys player and I also like to jam on Philip Glass piano pieces. We may be tilting more fusion and rock than traditional jazz.
