Are you courageous enough to saunter to the most haunted places in historic downtown York, PA? Both entertaining and informative, this walking tour explores the “shadow side” of a town that predates the founding of America. Join “Ghostess” Rissa Miller for tales of lore as part of the Fang Around festival. The tour will happen only 4 times the weekend of the event and guests will travel by foot from the festival to spooky locations around town. Stories span from Native origins into more modern times, including ghosts, poltergeists, fortune tellers, witches, and cryptids. Walk into darkness on Friday Sept 30 at 7pm, and again on Saturday October 1 at 4pm, 6:30pm, and 8:30pm. Tours begin at The Dark Parlour, 118 E King St, York, PA 17401, as part of the Fang Around event. Guests ages 12 and up are welcome. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome. All guests are encouraged to wear costumes for a group photo. This will be the fifth Fang Around event for The Dark Parlour and Royal Square District, with each event growing in size and attendance. Fang Around is a seasonal community event hosted by The Dark Parlour in collaboration with Royal Square District. Our goal is to provide a safe and fun gathering space to build community engagement and involvement. The events are heavily focused on arts, culture, history/education and entertainment, showcasing a variety of vendors and performers. We ALWAYS collect donations for animal rescues. Please drop off items at The Dark Parlour during Fang Around. We have previously worked with the York County SPCA, Eliannie's Animal Rescue, and MORE For Furry Friends. In a year since Fang Around's debut, it has grown from 75 to an estimated 2000 guests! The festival itself is free to attend. Ghost tours are $25 per ticket and a portion of each ticket sold will be donated to SAGE Dog Rescue, www.sagehounds.com to assist them in saving the lives of hounds. Questions?
