Found Female Dog

Description

Found a very friendly female dog in Cave Junction. She had no collar on and no tags. We took her off the busy streets and gave her food, treats, water, an indoor/outdoor kennel (she escaped under the chain link fence into the fenced backyard), took her to the vet to check for a chip, called all vets/sheriffs/county shelters, left multiple contacts, loved on her and gave her other dog companions. AND THAT DANG DOG TOOK OFF. She chewed through and then jumped right thru the window screen. My guess is she was trying to get home to her litter of pups. The vet was very clear that she just finished “welping”, and wants to get back to her pups. She has a unique feature about her, shorthair, she is golden/brownish/white and she is very nice. Anyways, if this is your dog, I just want you to know she was near RCC, and how sorry we are she escaped all our containment attempts.
