Everyone has a recording rig these days, but getting great sounds on things like drums, strings, piano, and especially vocals, takes a great sounding room and the right compliment of classic tools. I'm a songwriter and engineer who's been running an independent studio for over 25 years. While I work with many established professionals I also love working with new artists. Oak House Recording Studio is very comfortable with great sounding spaces, classic tube mics, vintage preamps and outboard gear, and even analog tape. While people often come in to track their whole record, others come in to capture key parts that are hard for them to get right at home.
