The Speakeasy Storytellers is a non-profit organization committed to creating community through the art of storytelling. The Speakeasy Storytellers began in 2012 as a multicultural, inter-generational forum for storytellers celebrating the art and craft of story-making. The Speakeasy Series supports themed open-mic storytelling productions. Speakeasy has produced and promoted inter-generational, multi-cultural storytelling shows for the San Francisco International Arts Festival and more than a dozen other storytelling productions in the Bay Area. The Speakeasy Series also provides workshops in storytelling around the bay area. We are currently looking for volunteers and interns to help facilitate with promotional and administrative duties.
