Field Supervisor | Lead Commercial Furniture Installer | Fairbanks, AK Starting pay is $24-27 per-hour plus bonus, incentives, cell phone allowance, quarterly tool allowance, and company provided work apparel. Position has opportunities for Davis Bacon/Prevailing Wage pay, as well as increase in pay for out-of-town projects. We offer a full benefits package: Medical/Dental, 401K & PTO. Majority of the work will need to be completed independently, with limited supervision by a person who is solutions oriented. Must have valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check to work on State & Federal projects. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: -- Oversees the warehouse in-bound freight, receiving, and strategizes to manage the capacity of the warehouse to accommodate short- or long-term storage. -- Reads and interprets architectural and 3D drawings to determine parts required, sequence of installation, and tools needed to ensure successful and timely completion of installation. -- Working with the Project Coordinator to address and resolve installation/logistical challenges in the field. This includes but is not limited to helping verify measurements for design and for installation, determining the best method of product load in, meeting with the customer to arrange time/date for install and to look at the particulars of the site, etc. -- Supervises and performs a variety of assembly and installation operations according to customer and/or company specifications to ensure timely and accurate completion of the installation. Essential that job site is clean when install ins finished and that work has been done to design; if changes have been made, job change orders must be accomplished and signed by the customer. -- Responsible for providing and maintaining own tools to perform installations. -- Maintains personal driving record that always meets company’s insurance eligibility requirements. -- Motivates, trains, and leads installation team members. -- May be required to travel.
