If you like to work outside, love horses, farm animals, birds, reptiles and exotics and are not afraid of getting dirty, hot, cold or wet, this position is maybe for you. We are looking for someone to be part of our animal care team. We are open to the public and you may be approached by guests for questions about the Retreat or our animals. You will also be expected to do guided tours, field trips, up close and personal experiences with our guests when requested. We are a small team of dedicated individuals who love the animals, the Retreat and its mission. You need to be a team player, know how to follow directions, hard-working, dependable and good communicator. 40 hours a week, 8AM-5PM. Week-ends. Experience with birds, reptiles, horses or farm animals a plus. Able to lift 50+ lb. Must have reliable transportation.
