You call them and work out a price over the phone, no record kept, no record signed, no obligation written, and no consequences detailing in the event of a default of payment.
THAT IS WHY YOU DIDN'T GET PAID FROM THE DIVE BAR. IF A THOUSAND FOLKS SHOWED UP TO HEAR YOUR MUSIC, SHE STILL WOULD HAVE STIFFED YOU, BECAUSE IN DIVE-VILLA, THAT'S GOOD BUSINESS.
