Contractor's assistant/apprentice - flooring work, tile, remodeling

Seeking laborer to assist general contractor for flooring work in a trial period. A few days a week for the next few weeks - longer if things work out. Ideally hoping to have someone who will stick around for a while - possibly more than a year. There are a lot of opportunities to learn valuable new skills with construction, electrical work, plumbing, etc. Consider it an informal apprenticeship. After a handful of years, you'd have enough skills to work for yourself. Must have enough base experience to be competent in using brooms, power saws, nail guns, floor scrapers, mixing buckets, laying tile/wood, and strong enough to carry 50+ lbs of material throughout the day. Hours generally equivalent to 1st shift. Opportunities for work arise depending on circumstances and need. If you're capable of doing a lot, expect full-time hours (slower in Winter). Will work with 1 or 2 other people. Pay starts at $15/hr - and varies based off of experience and the specific contract we'd be working on at any one time. You must supply your own transportation to and from Milton. You will be transported from Milton to the work destination. Older/experienced contractors encouraged to apply.
