POWER SWEEPER/ PORTER Employment type: FULL TIME OR PART TIME PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION PRIOR TO RESPONDING TO THIS POST. Current Schedule: WEEKLY SHIFT VARIES...BETWEEN 11PM-9AM (SOME FLEXIBILITY ON START/END TIME) If you cannot work on the Hours listed, please do not call. DAYS: NEGOTIABLE MINIMUM (3) DAYS A WEEK $15-$17Hr Depending on Experience (Experience not required) but preferred. A CDL is NOT required to drive the sweeper/ trucks. PORTER shifts will use own vehicles to get to jobsite We are a 24-hour a day 7 day a week operation and open for all holidays (EXCEPT Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, New Years Day & Easter). You must be willing to be on call. We work in ALL weather conditions rain, cold, high winds. Work is in lots and exteriors of commercial centers. We offer Health Insurance with Full Time (32+ Hours) Employment after 90 days. Job Requirements: Have a valid Nevada state driver's license Have a clean driving record (Will need DMV Record) Must be 24 years and older for insurance purposes Be punctual, dependable and have the ability to follow safety rules and company policies Have the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed No alcohol/drug related convictions within 10 years, must pass a background check Must pass drug test Able to lift 50 lbs. Able to work around dirt, dust, and noise associated with heavy equipment Job duties include, but are not limited to: Power blow (using a gas-powered backpack blower) sidewalks and curbs of assigned areas Perform basic pre-trip inspection for sweeper, which includes oil level, tire pressure, burnt out lights etc. Drive the truck from job to job Sweeping on job site includes: power sweeping lot, empty garbage cans and doing necessary hand work with backpack blower, push broom and shovel Report safety issues on site Training will constitute of a supervisor or senior driver riding with you to do the training on-site until you are ready to sweep/porter alone Punctuality and honesty are required There is a 90 day probation period.
