This is Persephone, she is a wonderful and loving dog looking for a new home. I have had her for about two years, she has been an amazing dog and one of the loves of my life... Unfortunately, my older dog and her no longer get along. I have tried everything from getting her fixed young, training, boarding, crate training, and everything else. She is everything to me but it's not fair for her to be left outside or in the living room away from me and my older dog. I wish I didn't have to do this but my older dog came first from an unsafe home and all I want is for both of them to have wonderful and loving homes where they can be safe and wanted. Persephone is an active dog, she is very excitable, easy to train, very very very smart (while also a little silly), and good with kids, she has no concept of personal space and will drown you in kisses. SHE CAN NOT GO TO A HOME WITH MORE PETS! She is a single-pet household dog. She is extremely shy and standoffish but warms up quickly! She is not aggressive towards people or children but she will bark at strangers. I am asking for a rehoming fee ($100 or less) just to make sure she is taken care of but I will be giving a huge bag of dog food, toys, crate, muzzle, leash, harness, gentle leader, updated shots, and records. I will also require multiple meetings to make sure she is a good fit for you. I want to do everything possible to make sure she finds the perfect home and does not end up in a shelter, stranded, or worse. Serious inquiries only, please. I promise she is an amazing dog and extremely loving, she just needs extra attention that I cannot give her.
