Guitarist looking to start/join an original rock band

Description
I am vaxxed and boosted. I believe that Joe Biden won the 2020 Presidential election. I believe that gender is a societal construct. If we aren't aligned on those three things, then we probably won't get along or respect one another, so you should probably save your time and move on. Me: 34 years old. I've been playing in bands off and on for over twenty years. Been jamming with people over the past couple of years, between jam and fusion type of styles. My chops on guitar are back up for the most part. I am not, nor have I ever been a "shredder" but can be flashy enough to wow your average listener. Looking to either join an existing group or start something anew, in which case I'm looking for a bassist and drummer to start with, then we can add on more pieces if/when it makes sense. If you already know another guitarist, keyboardist, or vocalist that would be interested, I'm fine with bringing them aboard now but don't want it to become a scheduling nightmare. I can sing lead or backup and am somewhere between a male tenor and baritone. I really would love to incorporate multi-part vocal harmonies into whatever we do (think Alice in Chains, The Beatles, or even Frusciante-era Peppers). I cannot growl/scream/rap. I'd prefer there be no real genre limitations; I love playing so many different types of music. That said, I'd like to straddle that line between catchy and musically/rhythmically interesting (including odd meters from time to time). I'd like to make music that will attract anyone/everyone across the gender spectrum and hopefully get them all to do want to move. My goal is to be able to rehearse 1-2x/week, then play a local show once every month or two. I am NOT interested in touring except for the occasional regional gig within a 4 hour radius of Chicago (Milwaukee, Madison, maybe StL, etc). I have a 9-5 and a family, so am not trying to make a living off of this. I do already have a monthly rehearsal spot with a full backline, PA, and 16 channel recording rig at Superior Street. 420 and booze friendly, but if you're more worried about getting buzzed than sounding tight and nailing your parts, then we're not going to be a good fit. Since I probably need to get this out of the way, here's a list of some influences on my guitar playing: John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers) Jimi Hendrix James Hetfield (Metallica) Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, solo) Dean DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots) Jeff Buckley Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains) Ernie Isley (Isley Brothers) Niles Rodgers (Chic, sessions, etc) Stevie Ray Vaughan Daron Malakian (System of a Down) Martin Barre (Jethro Tull) Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) Mike Einziger (Incubus) Adam Jones (TooL) Eddie Van Halen (Van Halen) Dave Mustaine (Megadeth) David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) The Beatles Jonny Greenwood and Ed O'Brien (Radiohead) Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age) Bob Marley Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits) Page Hamilton (Helmet) Vernon Reid (Living Colour) Andy Summers (The Police)
