BASED IN ALEXANDRIA, MN but we travel all over the country. You can live anywhere, don't have to be in Alexandria. Working Foreman: $28 and UP, depending on skills, abilities and initial performance. Blaster/Painter: $22 and UP, depending on skills, abilities, and initial performance. Year Round. Looking for able-bodied industrial painting "working" foreman and blaster/painters. Preferably someone who is in this position now elsewhere and wants a better place to work. We're a family company, looking to grow our team. We supply a company truck. Our trucks and equipment are newer, nicer stuff. Foremen need to know how to use airless sprayers, sandblasting equipment, etc. Needs to lead by example. Must be capable of managing men and paperwork (although it's not that much really), and understanding data sheets (for mils, dry times, etc). We generally sandblast, prime, and paint industrial storage tanks and piping. Interiors and Exteriors. In the Midwest mainly, but we will travel anywhere in the States. We generally travel for a week or few and then go home (to Alexandria) for a weekend. We pay for hotels, plus give you meal allowance $ every day, but if you happen to live close to the job you could also just go home at night. Up to you. Duties can also include maintenance and upkeep of equipment (like spray guns, paint pumps, blast equipment, compressors, etc), maintaining a safe and clean job site, and being a team player. Must be willing to listen and learn, even if you have experience already. We're looking for someone who wants to fit into our organization and grow with us. Full-time work with overtime. The summer gets busy, often working 6 days a week and getting a lot of hours and OT. *Please call or respond via email with some of your job history and experience with sandblasting and/or painting. Thanks. Must have Driver's License. CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is a HUGE PLUS but not required. If you have your CDL we'll bump up your wage! Required Skills: Driver's License. Teamworker. Preferred Skills: NOT required to apply but any of the following skills are a plus: Urethane Foam Application, Class A or B license, CDL, DOT, OSHA, or other certifications. NACE. Forklift, Man-lift, Scissors Lift experience.
